Personally, I love summer camp. Camping for an entire week allows us the time and room to try new things. We have experimented with new additions to the tower, built a myriad of camp gadgets, and discovered the joys of sleeping in a hammock (day or night). While we will not build the tower this year, there is always something new to do.

Mataguay is geographically close to Lost Valley, which also means the climate will be the similiar (hot and very dry). This is an important consideration for planning your day (and your equipment).

Starting with Sunday dinner, food will be provided by the camp. Until then we are responsible for our own food. We will cook as a Troop, with everyone pitching in as needed.
