5th Ultimate Adventure: BVI

Day Three - July 31, 2012

Departing: Little Harbor, Jost Van Dyke
Day Stop: Sandy Cay
Night Stop: Cane Garden Bay, Tortola

Our third day is two very short sails. The day stop at Sandy Cay, a small spit of land between Jost Van Dyke and Torola, has the classic look of a Caribbean desert island. A palm lined beach that, at times, is completely empty. After the day stop, we will sail back to Tortola and the beautiful harbor of Cane Garden Bay, home to sugar cane groves.

Day Stop: Sandy Cay.

Sandy Cay is a small unihabited island between Jost Van Dyke and Tortola. It is a classic "desert island", with palm-tree lined beaches and a short hiking trail in and around the island.
