Tarantella

Adapted and Arr. for Concert Band by Alfred Reed, 1996

Published by Birch Island Press (ASCAP)

Randall Coleman, Director

The traditional melody Tarantella has been arranged for concert band by Alfred Reed. In recent years Dr. Reed has transcribed many standard musical classics that were not available for the modern wind band. Some of the most enduring music of all time have been played by orchestras, but not by the wind band. This arrangement of Tarantella is a perfect example of not only good music for orchestra, but bood music for the wind band as well.
