Danielle Babineau is the Political Director for Peace Action,
the nation's largest peace and justice lobby. Peace Action is committed to
citizen involvement in the democratic process and works with people nationwide
who share a commitment to peace and justice issues in active, grassroots
campaigns. Peace Action works through legislative action, educational campaigns,
direct action and media outreach to achieve a future free from the constant
threat of nuclear annihilation.
On top of a degree in Latin American Studies and English, Ms. Babineau also has
several years organizing experience working on US nuclear weapons policy. Over
the years she has studied Missile Defense, the development of new nuclear
weapons, the effects of disarmament, as well as other aspects of US foreign
policy. She works with Congress, community organizations, and members of the
public who support common sense policy on nuclear weapons.
