WELCOME!This is the home page of Bixby Knolls Christian Church (BKCC),

Disciples of Christ
church. Here you will find out about the people and activities of our

are so easy to get to from where ever you may be. We hope you find us to be
friendly folk, and that you are able to worship God in a meaningful way in
our midst. WHO ARE WE?We are a part of the denomination of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). We believe in unity with diversity. We accept Jesus as our personal Savior and believe Him to be the greatest revelation of God and God's love. We celebrate communion every week and baptize by immersion. People of all faiths and church backgrounds are welcome to join us for worship. Bixby Knolls Christian Church, along with the denomination in general, are very active in the Ecumenical Movement both locally and globally, working with Christians from all churches to achieve the goals of Christ. The Christian Church, (Disciples of Christ), originated here in the United States in 1832. The symbol of our denomination is a red chalice with the cross of St. Andrews. This symbol tells of our historic roots in Scotland with the communion service as a central element of our weekly worship. As followers of Christ, we attempt to proclaim the Gospel message and promote unity among all Christians. BACK TO THE TOP
