Horse Thief Canyon

My favorite activity at Hi Hill was the all day hike to Horse Thief Canyon. We climbed up the side of a mountain using 6 different ropes of varying difficulty. Some of the climbs were on the edge of cliffs, others were up real waterfalls. After we finished hiking with the ropes, we went to Red Beards' horse thief hide-out and ate sandwiches and apples. We had a treasure hunt to find rocks, plants, decomposers, animals and other nature related materials and Derek and I found all of the things on the list. Finally we hiked back and found a bundle of mistletoe and some wasp gill.
