English Dances for Band
By Malcom Arnold

English Dances for Band was composed in 1951 by Malcolm Arnold and is a set of four dances based upon several countryside folk tunes and dances. Malcom Arnold was originally a trunpet player in the London Philharmonic and the BBC Symphony Orchrestras. His compositions include symphonies, chamber music and film music. Since there are no dance titles, each movement or dance is distinguished by tempo markings.
